A few weeks ago, while browsing ArtStation, Sarper Baran’s piece Portal Forest stuck out and reminded me of the science fiction Stargate franchise. Of course, while the small portal on the shore feels almost peaceful, the larger version up on the mountain comes off as more menacing. So I had to put a little story to this.
